Medical & Training Mission to Kenya in 2017

It was in the summer of 2015, during a leadership seminar/class at Drew University, God brought together two mission minded leaders. Dr. Joseph Nzeketha invited Pastor Philip Anderson to his church, Somerset Miracle Center in Plainfield, New Jersey. After ministering there they both embarked on planning a mission to Kenya for 2016.

Things did not work out as soon as they wanted, but God’s timing is the best.

By February 2017, the medical and educational teams for World Compassion Outreach Ministries (WCOM) were established. Bishop Joseph left ahead of schedule to get the Kenyan team ready for the mission. Pastor Anderson lead a team of ten missioners to Kenya, which lasted for two weeks.

During this time, we were able to treat over one thousand patients, held a retreat in the mountain with children and trained about one hundred Pastors and leaders in that community.
