Verse of the Day!
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.
Ephesians 4:11-14 NIV (Listen)

Evangelism is the sharing of evangel - the ''good news.'' Historically, it has referred primarily to the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by his followers, Christians. Our Motto at SMC is … Faithfulness to God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:14-15). We are devoted into bringing people to Jesus and to the kingdom of God by exhorting them to continue in the things which they have learned and become convinced of from the Holy Scriptures and placing their faith in Christ Jesus.

We are devoted into bringing people to Jesus and to the kingdom of God by exhorting them to continue in the things which they have learned and become convinced of from the Holy Scriptures and placing their faith in Christ Jesus.

This is how we do it:
Caring is the starting point. God always puts His love in the hearts of those whom He has called into ministry. There is a pastoral caring and love for people that only true pastors understand. It is both a gift and a calling from God.

Listening
has to do with taking the time to discover people's real needs. James Cash Penny's words reveal how he built his nationwide department store empire from his first humble store in Wyoming, "I gradually built up a knowledge of the needs of the customer and of the family." J.C. Penny's philosophy matches that of the wise shepherd who listens to his flock.
Meeting Needs
is the final essential step to connecting people. They are not yours until you have met their needs. They may hang around for a while to watch and listen but soon they will go where their needs will be met. Meeting needs in this ministry is a miraculous and wondrous thing to behold.

SMC supports two local churches in Nairobi and Kiambu, Kenya. These churches are in dire need of resources and ministry support. FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN HELP. Email us at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
